I always wondered why I had a tendency to put a colander on my head as a child, and I've always been fond of spaghetti. I think that I have found my true calling. The FSM is not just some passing fad, it is a worldwide movement and it is almost unique in that no atrocities have exercised in its name.

Long live the FSM.
Can I put in word for the Church of the Celestial Orbiting Teapot ? We haven't caused any world wars, either. We have only One Commandment - "If in doubt or sorrow, joy or glee, just have a nice cup of tea."
yeah, I know it doesn't scan properly.
P.S. and of course our headgear is a teapot cosy. Comfier and warmer than a colander.

Do I detect grounds for schism leading eventually to bitter sectarian infighting? The tea cosy would be acceptable headgear in cold climes such as Canada, Scandinavia, and northern Russia. But in the Med, The Middle East, and much of central America, it would be discarded.
I have actually got a model dual-purpose teapot cosy to prevent any risk of schism. It has an ( entirely optional ) padded interior, with a lovely lacy cover. Take your pick. Or else just make sure your ears stay cool ( if you are wearing a knitted cosy), by ensuring they stick out of the spout- and handle- spaces. See, all options are covered. or Uncovered, as the case may be.
Warmer areas might opt for crochet instead of full on knitting. The naturally occurring holes providing some relief for wearers even in the height of summer without any loss of dignity.

Drat! I've been waiting weeks for an excuse to use that punchline.

Interesting that the simple reversal of a bodily function passed for a biblical miracle.

I wonder how the opposite of this one would have rated
