oh umm and I suppose he said ; I am paying for this Guiness thro the nose !
As a teenager I had nosebleeds when I drank Guinness. Always ended up fighting.
We added tampons to our vehicle first aid boxes . Ideal to plug bullet holes. Never had cause to open a box of them thank God.
plug bullet holes - what...... in people?

I dont think it works .....

Oh you mean to plug bullet holes in those blow up dolls that fly airplanes in an emergency ? yeah OK that is an idea.....

oops I dont believe it
there is even a site on the internet about using tampons for GSW

[ doesnt work but if it does well done ....]

You wouldn't believe how much can be improvised in a critical first aid situation. A plastic bag (if you have 5p) and sticky tape (Duck) to seal a punctured lung etc. If someone is bleeding their last it doesn't matter one jot if what you grab is not sterile at the time.It is loss and shock will kill for sure.
If you ever became a casualty and visited Frenchay hospital,. Bristol you may be surprised who is behind the surgical mask and scrubs. Some of our pals from Bradbury Lines or perhaps the Queens personal protection officer.
We carried an array of firearms, smoke grenades etc but were forbidden to have scissors in our very comprehensive First Aid boxes (H&S :-)
not for the first time today I am sat with a tampon shoved up my nose.

These things have to happen periodically....
//not for the first time today // Greedy. It is usually a time of the month.
