Jim as a scientist you know that any theory needs to be tested to it's extremities, if we are going to go to autonomous vehicles the scenarios I focus on will be happening, a lot. So I think it is valid to focus on them now as examples of obstacles to overcome. Believe me I want autonomous vehicles as much as anyone but if I have to sit the the drivers seat, sober and ready "In case" and take responsibility for what it does then it's utterly pointless, I'd rather drive it myself.
You do know they won't, actually, be autonomous, ttt.
When you want to pop out for a paper, the car won't be able to go to the car wash, instead, again. ( or will it ;o()
