Plenty of her favourite food.

More of her favourite food.

Even more of . . .

;-)
If she's anything like mine then once she's slept off the anaesthetic the hardest thing wil be stopping her running and jumping about. They barely seem to notice they've had surgery. Some bother their stitches and some don't so you'll have to deal with that if it happens. The baby grow idea may work although it could catch on her stitches and make her more aware and more likely to bother them. I have seen dogs wearing inflatable collars rather like those neck pillows we use for sleeping when travelling which might be better than the cone collar. You might need to do a Google search for them. Good luck on Tuesday, but the whole thing is more likely to worry you than worry her.

they don’t always work in that some dogs can still reach the wound. Old blanky that smells of you and home better than a new one I reckon, save the new one till she’s all better.
Yes in my experience, hardest part is stopping either dog or *** (lady dog) leaping around like a mad thing.

Pmsl i took it off when she came home.... Not before taking a pic! She looked like yoda from star wars lol.... Poor thing!

Totally loving all the attention she is..... Snuggled in bed with me now xxx
My Daughter's tiny pooch looked so fed up in hers we called it the 'Cone of shame'.

She'll soon be back to normal Tinks.
glad things are going well Tinks
Try not to anthropomorphise (love that word!).

When she looks at you with that 'How could you do this to me, I thought you loved me!' look in her eyes, remember, the look is not really there, you are imagining it!

Andy, I think that's the 'look' @ 00:30.
You can't always help analysing those 'looks' though.

The pics are great. Riggs and cats understand quite a lot of what is going on around them. They just understand it all in a different way.
Now I don't usually disagree with anything Buenchico puts on here (in fact the opposite) but Chris your opening post of 'plenty of her favourite food' is the one thing you don't want to do! Spayed dogs tend to put on weight very easily if you don't watch their diet and give them plenty of exercise so take care what you feed her and reduce the quantity if she starts to look 'matronly'.
