Are Kelloggs the best Cornflakes or can anyone really tell the difference with other brands, I know Kelloggs are more expensive so there must something different about them or is it the Brand name!

Kelloggs cornflakes are on sale in Aldi at an Aldi-ish price and yes, they are the best tasting in my opinion.

To make a meaningful comment on this, you would need to blind-taste them against many other brands/ own-brands. Tasting them without comparisons doesn't mean much.
It's the brand name. They're all the same without the packaging. It annoys me to see Disney characters on the boxes that encourage harassed parents to buy the brand - Kellogs - with Elsa and Anna, for example, on them for much more money.
"Are Kelloggs the best Cornflakes?" yes without a doubt!!
It's the brand name, imo. Brand names often don't come top of taste tests.
Cloverjo, Sorry, they really are not all the same, I can tell the difference blindfolded with no problem at all!

The same with Weetabix, I had some recently, the weetabix just did not absorb the milk and were virtually floating, they went in the bin!
well I bought another brand of cornflakes - didn't like them so threw them out and went back to Kellogg
I switched to supermarket own-brand about 6 months ago, and won't be switching back.
There are a number of brand products which are identical to own-brand ones, but doesn't Kelloggs have (or at least used to have) the slogan “We don't make cornflakes for anyone else”?
There's a world of difference, easily detectible, between Kelloggs and the cheaper own (or non-) brands. There's less of a difference between Kelloggs and say Sainsburys. Those with a less sensitive palate might have difficulty distinguishing

Which you prefer is up to you - 'best' is a subjective thing
Go to Aldi or Lidl and buy their own brand cornflakes - any difference in taste will be more than made up for by the difference in your wallet. Branded cereals are a complete and utter con.
With some things the brands vcan taste better, but it is also to your taate. I prefer Kellogs corn flakes but don;t mind some other brands.
Mayoinnaise is the one for me, can't beat Hellman's mayo, although i do buy cheaper brands in between.
Or alternatively has a breakfast that isn't bland and needed fortifying.

I am like Canary changed to supermarket own brand and love them not quarter of the price either.

I bought Tesco own brand but oh said they didn't taste as crunchy as Kelloggs
I don't think you can beat Kelloggs, I've tried a few other brands but they're thinner and lacking in flavor.
You can taste cheap cornflakes a mile off! I suppose it depends on if you can get used to them.
I once started to eat a bowl of a supermarket's (forgotten which one) own label version of Special K. Like eating cardboardy dust! Never again, went straight back to the real brand!
