I want to buy one but will I need to download some software on to my computer to upload songs or can I just plug it in to my computer? Whats that itunes thing all about?

Hi

If you're looking to buy one, it'll come with all the software and cables you need. ITunes is basically your Ipod's music manager, where you can import and export tracks to and from your PC and Ipod.

It sounds far more technical than it is as the sioftware is relatively easy

northy1111 is right - My nano came with everything. However, i didnt like iTunes, so i downloaded an iPod plugin for Winamp. Much MUCH easier!
