when I view a you tube video, in a window or full screen, it plays for a few seconds then I just get a load of think vertical lines. It can't be my screen because I can see the rest of the screen. Any ideas? using firefox.

No expert and this may not be relevant but I was getting issues with Youtube videos. When the video started the screen when black but the audio kept going. Then to rub salt into the open would of pausing the frozen picture was shown no problem. I seemed to get some success from downloading another flash add-in for my browser. Maybe your issue can be solved in asimilar fashion ?
