Small Black Locomotive In Force 10 From Navarone

Does anyone know the type of Locomotive in Force 10 from navarone .It was the small black diesel type one that passed through the town carrying some wagons as some of the allies were dressed as Germans ..It looked like a Deutz to me ,these were small and mostly used for shunting and light loads .tia.
