...is not. It's supposed to go up to around 15 on Christmas Day. I don't mind the warm weather, but I sort of feel sorry for the ski-resort operators: it's not. even cold enough to manufacture snow. What are the temps like in Engrainland?

Warm, shopping without a coat today and OH had to cut the grass! That's in Norfolk.

More or less the same then I see. As I said, it doesn't bother me one iota; however, years ago when I used to do a lot of Nordic skiing I'd have been a tad miffed at this warmth.
The last few times that I have been in North America, the temperatures have been the same as in the UK. Everywhere seems to be very mild at the moment.
Here it's 'Odds On' for the warmest Christmas day on record.
The postmen are delivering the Christmas mail wearing shorts !
Christmas day temperature could be as high as 16 deg C.

Well, at this time last year "my field" was almost knee-deep in snow; this year it's still a verdant green:)
I stayed at the Fairmont in Toronto in Feb 2012 and went across the road to the train station to get the viarail train to Vancouver. On that journey, I had never seen so much snow in my life. I wonder if there would be so much snow this winter?

And the other good news is that starting on Dec. 23rd daylight start to get a little longer each day.

The breeze took the edge off the temperature in Stockton-on-Tees today
Daughter and family have booked to go skiing in France on Boxing Day!
Wish it was cold and frosty, don't like warm Christmases !
