how do i clear the address bar to delete sites visited and keep it from remembering what sites i have looked at. I am using firefox.
Also i want to do the same on my google home page.
I used to be ok but the setting must have changed on some upgrade.

1. Quit Firefox and quit any instances of Windows Explorer.
2. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Internet Options.
3. On the General tab, click Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.
4. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the Delete all offline content check box , and then click OK.
5. Click OK.


Voila!

Why not just tools>clear private data...
...That's a good way to do it fo3nix, but before doing Tools/clear private data.....you have to set up which private data you want to clear.....So..Tools/Options and click the Privacy Tab...then the Settings button and check which Data to include ..............commoner ;-)
well on my version of FF i can do what i said above and it asks me what stuff I want to wipe; assumed it did on everyone's (of the latest version, at least).
