christmas fishes

This year instead of a tree i had some christmas fishes. Now, christmas is over one of my fishes (goldfish) appears to be spending alot of his time upside down! is this normal??

I worry where you hung the balls and lights and where you stuck the angel..could this have something to do with why it is upsidedown?
Check the water. You'll probably find that guests have tipped dregs of booze into it. Drunken fish is really only for Chinese menus; this one needs to take more water with it.t
All joking aside, nope - this ain't normal. If he's rubbing up against things (like rocks) he could have something fungal thats irritating him. If you're not an expert with fish, take a sample of water down to your local aquarium/garden centre and ask them to test it, as he might contaminate the tank and then you'll lose all of them. It also depends on what type of fish he is, I know you say goldfish, but that still leaves a lot of choies - for instance, there is a type of catfish, that does nothing but swim upside down. I would suggest that it is an infection or disease of some sort, possibly involving the swim-bladder. This is the 'organ' that keeps the fish in balance. If the fish looks drunk, the swim-bladder is usually the cause.
