I don't wear anything to suggest support to any organisation.
But I would wear a badge to say that I am against terrorism, what it represents and I will not be intimidated.
I think this is a good idea but I am sure there will be people on here that will tell me why it isn't.

Gav, your objectives are admirable - setting up a fund/charity is rather a complex issue though.

There are many organisations helping victims of terrorism , I'm sure many have a badge that may suit.

If you decide to start your own , good luck.

Just putting it out there and hoping that it could snowball. It sort of came from watching the England game last night.
I understand, the unity at the match was uplifting wasn't it?
"Clearly everyone isn't against terrorism."

Minutes silence was not observed by Turkish football fans last night, it was trampled all over, clearly not everyone in that crowd was against terrorism

I can be a cold hearted cynical person at times but last night brought a tear to my eye.
"Minutes silence was not observed by Turkish football fans last night, it was trampled all over, clearly not everyone in that crowd was against terrorism "

It would be bizarre if the Turks supported ISIS - there are two seides to every story:
"Actually, they're chanting "Sehitler olmez, vatan bolunmez." Which means "Martyrs never die, the nation won't be divided." This is a common slogan thrown in remembrance of Turkish soldiers who fell victim to terrorism. In Turkey, there is rarely a minute of silence that isn't interrupted by this chant. Whether its a minute of silence for a Turkish catastrophe, or something else that happened globally, this always happens."
