Blackpool - Theatre D'amore

Was at a bit of a loose end this evening, so we loaded up Betty the campervan and went to Blackpool to have potter along the front.

Was a lovely walk from one end t'other, then we came upon this, and I was mesmerised, I thought it was wonderful.

Haha, she's got a new exhaust, she reached an epic 62 on the motorway tonight, she did us proud!

I went to the 'unveiling' of that, B00. It was designed by Laurence Llewellyn Bowen and he made a bit of a speech, etc.
Depending upon the direction the wind is blowing, I can sometimes hear Kylie when I'm in my yard.
Some of the 'waving celebrities' could do with a bit of maintenance, though....LoL

Now I have not been to Blackpool for many a year but if I knew they had magical things like this I would make a visit

Just in front of the South Pier Ric- honestly go, it's really lovely, I was thoroughly charmed.

As an aside, the rest of the lights were a bit abysmal, was really underwhelmed by them, even the tower lights seemed a bit meh.

I would like to go to meet up with an old friend who lives in Lancaster and Blackpool is a good in between place. Will it still be on in December? I bet they finish before then
