Turbo diesel?!

what is the best turbo diesel car to purchase if I have �5k to �7k?

My recommendation would be something from the Volkswagen group; VW, Seat, Skoda, Audi etc. Whichever you prefer based on your budget and needs. Avoid the earlier 90BHP engine, I had one of these and while it was excellent, economical and reliable the 110BHP and newer 115BHP feels a lot more powerful.

I now have a Seat Altea TDi and it is quite quick, and returns over 500 miles on a tank of diesel (mostly town driving too, very little motorway!)

This is obviously an opinion and I have limited knowledge of cars but I hope it helps.

Bought a renault clio 1.9 dti last week ,so far I would say it has been very enjoyable to drive ,excellent handling ,and I have done around 250 miles on 20 quid ,low insurance costing me �160.00 for the year..

all modern t diesels are very good- but try a hidden gem like a underatted nissan almera 2.2td 136bhp.Ford focus /mondeo diesels also very good.The ultimate has to be a bmw 530d and a mileagey one will be within budget
