I must do that Islay - cut myself off the whole world. Behind all the black words on white paper there are so many other words that can not be bandied about on this post so Islay - always remember "walls have ears".
One great factor in my cousin's lighting - is will not put the lights cos she is a great saver of money. Even my cousin's daughter came in and told her mother to put the light on etc. Even when she puts it on - you can see her face getting all stiff etc - no I see her in HER house in once a year but she comes to me once a month and my house is like Xmas - no I don't definitely have the money she has cos I am not one bit thrifty.
I so thank Hans for his kind words but I am kind by nature it will always be with me - if there's anything in the house I can give ie lamp, ornaments, a cuppla hoovers - I gave them to my nephews last week and they were saying the hoover was fantastic - I thought it wasn't much suction - bless them - LOL to them.
A jeweller I knew made her own jewellery in America and loved these £4.99 earrings in my ears one night and begged me for them - off they came - she was over the moon. I loved these wee earrings too believe it or not - but off they came - she got them cleaned and was a happy woman. Ummmmm - in spite of your terrible impression of me I am not one bit commercial or materialistic = Islay - I know they have taken time out but it is usually money - and if you need money to turn a light on - then use it for your lighting. I had wonderful parties in my day Frid, Sat Sun and when I turned 60 I stopped the lot and I know many friends to this day miss those days. I had karaoke, fabulous, tried to tape myself singing with Nat and was able to put him and I onto a record, and of course Ireland is known for fabulous singers/harmonisers which are all on the video tapes for all and sundry to see. But I think a certain lady over 60 has to call it a day LOL.
