Corrie Last Night

Anybody else's Sky+ throw a wobbly last night and only record half?

Today's repeat at 1.30 is only down as being half hour long but last night's episode was 1 hour...

Any suggestions how my missus can se the half she missed?

Did you set it for both 1/2 hourly episodes. I've been caught like this in the past thinking it's one episode but in sky+ land it's two!

It's on series link, so it should have picked it up...

Ooohhhh nooooo, series linking will only link episodes that fall at the same time so it will only pick up the 7.30 episode. You will have had to set up to record the 8pm episode separately.

Sky+ is brilliant but has its limitations...

Sorry to appear thick...the episode was in Sky Guide as one episode, so I'm not sure how to shave it into two, unless I did a manual recording?

What about todays ITV 2 repeat as half hour?

Series Linking will record a half hour episode at 7.30. The fact that Sky listed as a 1hour episode shows the limitations of the sky+ box's software.

Sorry Uncle Al if i'm confusing you, the best thing to do is check what sky+ is recording when the norm changes (does the red circle with R in it appear against both listings). I find manual is the best bet in these scenarios.
