Since Fish said that 'someone has called in to say that there's a hurricane on the way'....dont worry, there is'nt'......in October 1987....he lost himself all respect.

I worked for BT at the time yogi and there was loads of out engineers went down there to help restore telephone lines, they loved the hospitality shown to them all as I recall

What a night......i was staying at a girlfriends place in Shoreditch after a night out....think it was a wed or a thursday night.........we got up in the morning after tumbling in about 4.ooam...wass bad then, but then we saw the devastation it had left.

Power was cut off, Chris Tarrant was on breakfast show... Capital Radio, saying dont go out if you help it....most roads closed due to trees/devastion.....gatwick and all london airports shut. Nightmare. Went to my parents house in South London to help them clear up the mess in their gardens.
