Words fail me.

Wasn't it good of us to open our borders to the whole of Europe, to allow those less fortunate the chance to improve their lot?
Hopefully it will still deter them from engaging in more serious crime

CPS Press Office 21/02/20012: The CPS has successfully prosecuted two Rumanian men in connection with the theft of hundreds of pounds worth of chewing gum from a supermarket in Taunton. Both men received sentences of imprisonment.
British justice at its pathetic best send the criminals back where they came from and shut the border we are full !!!!

I feel sorry for the police, who do their job, catch these yobs and then the courts set them free - MAD !!!
The sentence is completely wrong, wherever the defendants are from. Don't the magistrates read the papers, or know the principles of sentencing where a crime is 'prevalent' or 'fashionable' either locally or nationally?
