We're flying longhaul so I want to take my own set of noise-cancelling earphones. Can anyone tell me what the sockets are like on BA fleet (we'll be on a 777 I believe) so I know what kind of jack I need to get? Thanks.

All the BA aircraft I have flown on use a standard 3.5mm stereo jack – accept my first flight across the Atlantic on a 747, which had headphones connected via hollow tubes to a communal sound source.

Thank you. Just wanted to check after being caught out on an Emirates flight with two jacks and no adapter!
Just because none of the BA flights I have taken recently employed a two jack connector, does not mean that they have not installed it on their 777s. You could always buy an adapter just in case. Also take an mp3 player in case the in flight movies are crap (something to listen to in the departure lounge).

Yeah fair point, although we're on old fleet not the refurbished ones :(

Thanks for your help.
Single jack "down the back" Double jack in Club Class (unless you`re on the new 300 series in which case I don`t know)
