Why when asking a question on ebay and some other sites the code is not just written clearly but overlapping ect to make it sometimes difficult to read.

is it the thingy that you have to enter to prove you're a human? cos i can never see them usually takes me a few goes but then i am part cat
Ahhh, the Captcha. Most have a 'recaptcha' button that you can keep clicking until you get a readable one.
I think weecalf thinks those curley letters and numbers you have to type in sometimes- for example when reportinga question on AB. It's so a machine can't read them and send in spam. But I agree that sometimes they make it difficult to distinguish between lower case b and a 9 for example

On ebay and if Iemember it used to be on deal or no deal before they had tpo stop it . I fell for it and actually sent in anwser had as much chance of winning as V Cable has of becoming an annnouncer on Sky TV .
