valet parking - $5

luggage - $1 a piece

waiters - at least 15%
Some American friends tip 25% on meals, but I think 10% to 20% is OK, typically 15%.

Valet parking I'd just add a dollar or two, if anything - look at what the rest of the queue does. Luggage, a dollar an item/visit up to a max of three to five dollars or so. If a doorman calls a cab on the street for you, that's a dollar or two.

Most importantly, go with what you're happy and comfortable with - don't let it spoil your holiday ...

perfect thank you, you two!
When in Rome and all that......you should not tip less than 20% on meals or cab rides.
