my cousin works as a nursing assistant in a psychiatric hospital....

3 years she was charged with a racially motivated attack (I'll fin out exactly when she wakes up)

Basically she had an argument with a bouncer. He pushed her....she kicked him...he pushed her to the floor....she called him a black barsteward. She got charged more for the person she was with (criminal) and also black funny enough...

Anyway....she due a new CRB check.....will she be instantly sacked?

She's white and was on a night out with her then black BF who's a very very naughty boy......the police do not like this person. She thinks that if she wasn't with him she wouldn't have been charged.
You say she was charged, did she then go on to get a conviction? If she went to court did she plead guilty or not guilty?
Question Author
She didn't go to court.

She's half asleep at the mo...they charged her at the police station and she didn't hear anything since.

This is looking a bit more promising methinks....
I may be wrong but if I'm correct a standard disclosure only shows your convictions and an enhanced crb shows everything you were arrested for. What crb is she going for?
Not sure whether this helps.

Question Author
It will enhanced as she works with adolescents.

Turns out she wasn't actually arrested.....they called her and asked her to come in to give a statement. In the statement she admitted what she'd done...the bouncer didn't want to take it further. Nothing happened after that

Thanks Biggy...
It won't be enhanced because of her working with adolescents it will be enhanced because she works with vulnerable people - a nursing assistant in a psychiatric hospital means she could work with young people or adults

Maybe she should learn to curb her sentences in the future and make them shorter? lol
