How much did I win ?
Question Author
errrm , hang on and I will tell yer Jack..lol
£4,599,128

I'd move my folks and myself down to Somerset to be closer to my Sister and Nephews.
I'd move.

Switzerland or Portugal ... I'd be hard pressed to choose.

Maybe a flat in Switzerland, and a house in Portugal.

I wouldn't take anyone.
Ah, in that case.
I'd buy a large plot of land somewhere..........and design and build homes for my family.
I'd start up a local business offering employment to local residents.
think i would be looking at a property on the isle of man and in hunts window
Question Author
don't you live oop Norf Judge?
great choice btw,,,Somerset, I would live in Cyprus, pack up everthing and buy two homes for me and the family...and make a lot of my friends happy with a big bonus
I would move about a mile from where I live now. Buy a holiday home in Cornwall and maybe some sort of flat/time share in Barcalona.

Leave dear old blighty NEVER
Question Author
who would you give some money to?( everyone)
Question Author
what has Blighty got to offer you Dave?..
not a criticism but a query btw..lol
If I'm honest, I'm not sure how much (if any) cash I would hand over; but I'd certainly provide 'the luxuries' and most 'essentials'...........
Bobbi - I think that its always easier to criticise your own.

We have certain things and freedoms that we take for granted and these thing are not always available elsewhere. For instance personal freedom in the country you be whichever political turn you wan. whatever religion you want and our society tolorates it, which is a fantastic freedom that we take for granted.
Of course I'm from Northern England ( Doesn't stop me singing "Dirty Northern bar-stewards" at Yeovil games though ;-) ). Just further south of you, Bobbi.

I'd probably go for a holiday home in Spain, so I could watch the footy (Barca v Real Madrid) or watch three rounds of Moto GP (Catalunya, Jerez and Valencia) and World Superbike (Also held in Valencia). Maybe have another home where they get lots of snow - I miss plaggy bagging!!! :-(
Would people give money to their friends?

Think of which of your friends is the highest earner ...

... Does he/she give you all cash handouts?

So I would pay off a few people's mortgages, pay off the balance of my god-daughter's school fees, and put some money in trust for her.

That's all.

I would like to say to my mates, the ones I trust anyway,Look me me at Newcastle Airport tomorrow morning, bring only what you have on + your passport...
I would give each of them(about 10 of them) an envelope with £50,000 in it, board a plane, in club class, to New York for a few days staying at the Waldorf Astoria which will have been already paid by me, we would stay in the best rooms so we could view this fab city, go shopping for clothes and prezzies, and return home happy bunnies...sighhhhh, if only
Question Author
<meet me at Newcastle Airport>
I don't know, you here about all these people who have problems when people find out they have money.

I would do it anonymously via a solicitor.
I would buy a house in England - probably somewhere like Surrey. I would buy a house in California - that would be my main house. I would give money to my mother, my Nan (not that either of them need it) and I would give something (tho not life-changing amounts) to one or two friends.
I'd be in Cyprus, suppose hubby would have to come with me!!
Question Author
no I wouldn't give them life changing amounts eitherNM
Dave you have a point there, that young girl from Cumbria is a crack addict now isn't she?
Judge what is 'plaggy blagging..lol
