Dont use your wife to political ends then people wont get on your back about it. She wasnt voted for she shouldnt be getting involved, keep them out of the way

Maggie never used Dennis he just kept in the background, as he should, he wasnt the PM.

Phony Blair used Cherry and now Gordon is a Moron Brown is flaunting old whassername around to get a better image of himself as a nice family man instead of the dour boring dull sweaty that he really is.

He like most politicians is pathetic, and they wonder why we despise them and their actions

Too true,Zacmaster.
I agree. In the former Soviet Union the wives of leading politicians were totally anonymous until the arrival of Mikhail Gorbachev.

In the US the president's wife is usually referred to as the First Lady, which may be more appropriate there as the president is head of state and at official functions she is there as his 'consort'. However it is totally inappropriate in the UK as the prime minister is not the head of state.

/// but we wont fall for the stunt, will we.? ///

Trouble is it will most likely work with the Female vote, most of them like this kind of thing.

You know the type of thing, "arh isn't she lovely, she brings tears to my eyes"
Norma Major or Mary Wilson were ever subjected to this kind of thing. And Mrs Thatcher would have need to have kept Dennis locked in the attic.
Where's it all going to end?

Zeuhl

For your information these women are not politicians they are politician's wives.
<Trouble is it will most likely work with the Female vote, most of them like this kind of thing.>

A sweeping generalisation with not a shred of evidence with which to back it up.....
yes, I'll vote for the one with the prettiest wife, so long as she has nice shoes.
Don't overlook the other items in her wardrobe, Sara. Colour coordination can tell you a lot about the intergrity of a woman's husband...

NM, I can't believe I didn't think of that!

I'll only vote once I've seen inside the potential PM's wife's wardrobe.

and I'd like to know which perfume they use.
okay girls, stand by... I've decided to put myself forward as a candidate!

my wardrobe is good (with coordinating bags, shoes, etc), my interior design is impeccable, I wear Chanel perfume.

Colin (big, fluffy cat) will be my right-hand-man (although he is sitting to my left).

Chanel Chance.

but for evenings, Coco Chanel.

are you in or not? (Colin stinks, btw)
I'm voting for Sara3...........she is obviously the candidate with the best policies; it doesn't matter what they are as judging by recent history you say one thing to get elected and then either a) don't do it at all, or b) do something entirely different..........

Are you taller than Sarkozy and if not, do you have some killer-heels which will rectify this ?

And in the blue corner, we have NoMercy....

I too have impeccable taste in interior design, for it is what I do for a living. In the daytime I wear Prada Infusion D'Essence D'Oranger and in the evenings I wear Michael Kors... I have a plethora of vertiginous shoes in which I will always stand tall and proud, and with His Royal Wagginess, Alfie The Wonderdog at my side. I'm sure to steer this country back to prosperity. Alfie is ginger, but these are PC times. Any donations to the campaign fun will be cunningly disguised.
Now I'm confused....
