Remembered mainly for The Whicker Man but for me his best film by a mile was Breaker Morant.

I liked him in Callan (with 'Lonely'). And one of my favourite 'what do you call jokes - what do you call a man with a wooden head - Edward. What do you call a man with three wooden heads - Edward Woodward.
