No, sorry, can't tell you about staying there, but our friends visited from Singapore for a day and loved it!

it is ok to visit, or be based in a 5 star hotel if you don't want to see the rest of Singapore, but as a base it is not great, taxis to and from town are a pain, particularly at night. Stay in town (Marina Bay or Orchard Road) and get the cable car to Sentosa for a day.
