What's your budget... what time of year are you going... what's your criteria?

we spent our honeymoon in Thailand about 7 years ago - best holiday EVER! We booked with Kuoni and paid for 2 weeks and got the third week free. Avoid the wet season though!
We spent a few nights in bangkok (crazy city) then went to Chiang Mai (very cultural and highly recommend) then on to Phuket and Koh Phi Phi.
Hotel in Phuket was just a Holiday Inn but was AMAZING standard. Think we were at a Crowne Plaza in Bangkok and then another H.Inn at Koh Phi Phi. Would highly recommend all of them.
Other good places to see I believe.. Krabi... Koh Samui.. depends whether you want beach/sun or culture or a bit of both. Amazing country - amazing people.

THAIBUS

I took my wife, Mother and Son to Pattaya in Thailand. Just over an hour from Bangkok Airport it has plenty of Beach, Shopping Malls, trips to tropical Gardens, Islands ect. Weather is around 32c all year and hotel rooms to sleep two from £10 upwards per night. Great local food and International resturants for all taste's. If you want the best Hotels they have just finished building The Pattaya Hilton also good are Hard Rock Pattaya and Marriott is in a good location. Cheaper hotels are the Lek in second road or a Double room above a Bar Like Tuk Bar in Soi Yamoto for 500baht thats around £9 a night.

Nosha....Koh phi phi is the small island off phi phi....I got stranded there over night because of a storm. Just me, other half, the boatman and 3 other thai men. Me in my bikini and sarong and loads of chickens running round. Didn't get back to the mainland until 7 the next morning....

When we went we just travelled round. Started off in Bangkok and just got buses/flights/buses to various places.

We paid £5 a night for a beach hut in Phi Phi.....£2.50 each...can't complain...

I'm going back asap.....loved it there...and now my Aunt live in Krabi so we have a bigger excuse to go..
