Most camp sites allow pople to sleep in tents, or sleep in their motorhome.

So as long as you pay for your "pitch" I guess you can sleep in anything you like.

Why not join these people, they have high quality camp sites all over the UK

I've been thinking of going on a cheap 'camping' holiday, sleeping in the back of my estate car. I mentioned this to my neighbour last week, expecting him to think me a little eccentric. Instead it turned out that he does exactly the same thing himself, all over the country. (He's a keen fan of motor sport and goes to lots of events). He told me that he always books onto camp sites, and he has never had any problems.

PS: To find suitable campsites in Wales, start here:

Select your county then, on the next page, define your requirements (including, of course, setting 'MotorHome Pitches' to 'Yes')
long time since I did this, but I often used to park and sleep in multi-storey carparks overnight - used to be free or minimum-rate as long as I was gone by about 8am and there were usually facilities on the premises. Only of use in bigger towns, of course.
