i've been a few times to dfferent parts of turkey and never bee vaccinated
As you're taking children I guess you'll be going to a tourist area so no, however if you're venturing off the track towards Eastern Turkey - the Iraq or Syria border then yes you would need to check it out more.

Just take suntan lotion and something from the mossies. If you run out of suntan lotion only buy from a chemist or a large supermarket as many of the small ones (particularly those that display it outside) water it down

no vaccinations but recommend chastity belts ;)
Here's the official advice from NaTHNaC (which is funded by the government to provide health information to travellers):

Chris
we are going in May too, your replies have been of interested to me as i had wondered exactly same thing.
have a great holiday :)
I have been a few times and never needed vaccines.

P.S If you are near, go to Olu Deniz. Part of the beach is a blue lagoon national park. It costs about 50p to get in, but all the money goes back into keeping it beautiful.
Try Paragliding too - Olu Deniz is the 2nd best place in the WORLD to do it!!

Have a lovely time!!
what everyone says: you don't need any for the tourist areas. Great country, wonderful people.
