If it was a first time offence, he will most probably get a community order, or fine if lucky. I would doubt a custodial sentence for a first time offence, but could never make the promise.

The CPS will proceed with or without you in a domestic case.

we had a row in november i slapped him and he called the police nothing happened to me how come
they have brought this up but they seem to be making it out to be all him i said in my retraction that i am suffering from post natal depression which results in me starting the arguments will this help him in court
i cant help but worry he will go to prison he wont cope how do i make it better please help me i have nobody to talk to
I honestly don't think it will be custodial!

What you need to do, is either, not attend court, OR if you are summonsed, take the oath and say" Good morning to you and your colleagues, you will note I have answered the conditions of my witness summons and will now leave the building". They cannot force you to give evidence.

Unfortuantely due to this happening so often to police will attempt to prosecute you for wasting police time if you do retract, therefore it is now only possible to let things run there course and learn for the future.

I have been through something similar. In my case, the person involved was fined 100 and given 60 hours Community Service. It is almost certain not to end in a custodial sentence especially if it a first offence.
If your hair is ginger, you should go to jail yourself. For a very, very long time.
I think an MBE would be appropiate, or possible even title to a large chunk of Bedfordshire and a season pass to Eurodisney

Try using your brain a wee bit, that might help you. And while you are at it learn how to spell and punctuate.

libby070705 wants us to join in her misery & woe. She wants this hair puller of a partner to have the battery charges dropped.
