Is there any reason I wouldnt be able to take a fresh flower bouquet on a flight to Spain from Stansted?

Even if it is allowed (I don't know if it is) it will be in a dreadful condition on arrival - it will have to go into the overhead locker.

I was thinking of asking a florist for a box, but dont think they would allow it aswell as hand luggage then!
Many countries do not allow plants or fresh flowers to be imported because of the risk of disease and pests. I would take something else, or arrange for flowers to be sent interflora.
I would wait until you arrive in Spain,the florists here do wonderful arrangements and they are cheaper than U.K.
