I hold a British Subject's passport which was renewed in December 2003. Do I need a visa to travel to the USA? I have been told both yes and no!

My son flew there last weekend - no visa for a holiday.
Ring the Airline or the Embassy! Stop wasting time online.
Ignore that ****** WHJ. Visa waiver is valid for British citizens only, and not subjects. Better safe than sorry so get a visa!
The US has recently extended its visa waiver arrangements until October 2005, so you should be OK until then. For fuller details, see http://www.ukpa.gov.uk/press_260704.asp
If your passport is the new one with the computerized details that can be scanned..you are ok till Oct 05 as Sylday said
