Oki doke!
I am trying to send off my application for my driving license, I filled in my form, had my pic signed and so on, only to be reading through it & realise i dont have a digital passport :( (passport ran out 4 years ago and was done when i was 10)
As for my birth certificate, my mum says dad has it, dad says he has never seen it, so it has been misplaced a good few years ago. I can get a copy but will they accept a copy for my driving application?
I should of sent off for it a couple of years ago but have been putting it off as im terrified, but have had a car for a year and well, cant put it off anymore!
I dont want to delay it much as then i will start making excuses not to do it again :(

hi, the full copy birth certificate will be just that, a certified copy, as opposed to a photocopy. Ask your mum where she registered your birth and then go to the same place with about 8 and your details, like name at birth, date of birth, parents names, and they will do you a copy then and there and it is acceptable as id for a driving license, if you are female and have a different surname now through marriage you will also need to send your mariage license with yor driving license application to show the legal change of surname.
I think you should find all the info you need on the documents you can send in the accompanying booklet you got with the application.
