Have any of you ever been there? I've booked a holiday there for July and was just wondering about the suitability for a group of 18 year olds! Aswell as this does anyone know what kind of temperatures they have there? Thanks!

Hi ya, my boyfriend went there with his mates, they were 19 at the time and they loved it, good bars and clubs, like rumours and linekars and carwash and pachas, Magaluf was a fantastic holiday for us when we were 18 - loads of girls and boys and loads of clubs and bars each night. it was my fave holiday with my mates since.

Playa de las Americas has wall to wall sunshine all year round. Your temperatures in July should be in the mid to high eighties. There's something for everybody in this place, but the nightlife centre is definitely in the centre of the resort around 'Veronicas'. This is where most of the good clubs & bars are. You can eat out well & pretty reasonably & there is a huge variety of food from MacDonalds through to Chinese & Indian. One tip though - keep your hand on your wallet, especially at night!!!

It's perfect for a group of 18 year olds! It is a little seedy though, so keep an eye out for each other. It has a long beach and will be extremely hot!!

Hmmmm....well i suppose if you want the typical brit holiday, then yes you are going to the right place, full of "chavs". Typical dress for a "chav" on a night out. Football shirt and longish shorts white trainers, oh and dont forget the checked baseball cap to cover the muppet haircut. Not sure what a "chav" is then look it up on Google !

PS Dont forget to wear all the "chav" jewellry, necklaces sovereign rings on middle fingers etc. Dont want to look out of place

Thanks everyone thats realy helpful! hopefuly it'll be a laugh but I guess I wont know til I'm there! As for being a "chav", well I doubt it seeing as I'm female and those kid of people don't do anything for me!! Feel free to post more answers though!!
