This is the only one we do not know for sure. Can anyone suggest an answer for question 24a. It does not look like Rajasthan to us, much more likely islamic/arabic/moorish so somewhere around North Africa or Middle East. Any suggestions.

Granted it looks like something else - actually I agree it looks more moorish if you ask me but at this stage I'm willing to belive someone who says they've been to rajastha and seen the building there...
Just one more point here - does 23 d) look like brighton ? nonetheless it is ....
which countries have a pound curency please--i seem to have one too many!
Morning Dr - do you have these 4 for Q22: Cyprus, Egypt, Gibraltar & Lebanon?
Gibraltar isn't a nation state.
Oops, just had discussion with hubbie as to whether Gibraltar is a nation state, therefore replace Gibraltar with Syria :)
thanks. 24a remains elusive im afraid!
Having now gone to the library as well as searched endless pages on the Internet, I do not think it is Rajasthan - unless someone can point to the specific building. Searches on Morrocco, Cairo and Egypt generally are far more promising - but still looking. . . . . . .
This month's Sunday Times travel magazine has a feature on Morocco. Guess what - no pictures like this. Looks as if not there. Also tried Canary Islands, Sardinia, Corsica, Algeria, Libya and the Lebanon. Help ma bob!!
