dangerous overall. Dangerous for tourists, natives etc. Not because of natural circumstances in this case, but purely by threat of war, terrorist actions and soforth.

Columbia has long been considered the most dangerous country in the western hemisphere - and the world. Drug barons, cartels etc.

there is a web site somewhere where it will tell you countries to avoid due to war, terrorism etc. think it's a Govt one. Not sure it it gives a top 10 but Angola was on there as was Iraq.
