It's somewhere in Oxfordshire, but the people who live there and the parish council etc etc will always refrain from saying exactly where, because they don't want coachloads of tourists pouring in.

All I do know is that it's very close to Ormbury Gap (sp?) where the opening title sequence was shot.
The aerial shot looking northwards over Stokenchurch Gap is close to the main filming location of Turville, Buckinghamshire.
