No problem.
I would double check, because you know Airports are becoming stricter and stricter. I went to Sharm El Shiekh last January and you have to have 6 months clear before it expiring and i was short by 2 days and had to buy a brand new one.

I know that was Egypt, but to be sure... double check!
Yes it is fine. Your passport expires in April, that is when you need to renew it for travel to France
For travel within the EU, EU citizens just require a valid national identity card.

For the UK the only national identity card issued at the moment is a passport.

Therefore you just need a valid passport.
