Does anyone have any experience staying at the resort of Glyfada near Athens.We ( 2 adults + 2 kids) are looking to book a weeks accommodation in August 2007(sat25th to sat 1st sept) at this resort.We have filghts booked so its just somewhere to stay that we require.

Was there years ago and found it to be very brash, noisy, unattractive, and commercialied. Move further along the coast or go to one of the islands.

I was there years ago too. Would not go back. We seemed to be directly under the flight path!! I can't remember it had anything to recommend it. The islands are much nicer.
