3, and unless you are planning to raise pigs on a rice farm you don't actually need them in Thailand unless you are insanely unlucky. There are occasionaly outbreaks, the last one was in Malaysia about 5 years ago. I had them, they cost a chunk of money and given the risk of anaylphalatic shock I had to sit in the surgery for 2 hours after each jab. Noone else I know had them.

Im also going to vietnam, laos cambodia and malaysia so I am going to have them as its better to be safe than sorry, but cheers I didnt know you could have them all in 1 day
You can't have them all in one day - I can't remember how many days in between, but I do have less than fond memories of sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours afterwards on three occasions.
"Japanese B Encephalitis" is three injections. I had my first on 3 November. My second was due one week later on 10 November (and I've yet to get it). My third is due exactly one year after the first injection on 3 November 2007.
