airport allowance

Hi guy's.Can anyone tell me if my mobile phone will have to go into my suitcase,or can I still put it in hand luggage.I'm goint to Turkey from Birmingham in the morning.

I think it can go in your hand luggage now. But do check with your airline because it could change from airline to airline.

I've just flown back from Portugal and I had no problem taking my moblie or i-pod on the plane in hand luggage. No liquids of any sort, except baby milk or presribed medicine, are aloud on so you'll see a lot of people downing water from bottles before going through the x-ray machines which made the whole queuing process much more entertaining, especially one guy (hung over I'm sure) drinking from a 5 litre bottle!!
