for immigration purposes, no. however you will need to check the policy of your carrier - whether airline or ferry - on the need for photo ID.
Ireland - technically yes as Ireland is non UK but I have travelled several times with no passport - as it is your daughter and all the others are holding passport - should not cause a problem - best always to have ID on you when travelling outside the UK
It all depends where you are travelling from - it is impossible to answer this question without knowing which country you are currently in
If you are a UK citizen travelling from the UK to/from Ireland you do NOT need a passport.

However for security reasons your airline will demand a photo ID from all adult passengers. It depends on the airline what IDs they will accept, but a passport is always acceptable.

The ferry companies may be less fussy.
A group of us flew with Ryanair a few years ago and they would not let my Uncle on without a passport (the only pure Irish one of us), but he and my sister just booked another flight with Aer Fungus (sorry - Lingus). Ring the company you are travelling with. Even if you are disappointed with their answer, it is better knowing now than when you are in the middle of an air/ferry port. Good luck to you!
