Cheap beach holiday for one

A friend of mine is stressed and just wants to lie on a beach somewhere for a week. Most cheap holidays are for two. Are there any companies offering cheap holidays for singles?

i went to tunisa at xmas, it cost 430.00 for half board, flights transfer etc. I had a great time and my single room turned out to be a massive double. i didn't pay any supplements for being single and had a great time. I got hassled a little bit on the beach but telling them were to go sorted that one!

Book it independently. Cheap flight to one of the Greek islands, approx �60. Most airports have accommodation offices (a bit like our tourist information here in the UK) and she could pick up a room for as little as �10 per night. Or she could get a ferry to one of the more obscure islands and get a room for �5, sometimes with a meal thrown in. She will have a fab time.

I've recently booked a 1 week stay in Gran Caneria for the 3rd of July. It cost �300. This was a fab price considering- under-occupancy etc. I booked this travelcare.co.uk. (booked with these before!)
