Can anybody help or has anybody experience of or access to reliable information about travelling by air with dogs to Spain? Is it cost effective/more practical as opposed to going by car+ferry/eurotunnel? We have two (elderly) king charles spaniels we would take with us if we sell up our home later this year and move permanently which we are thinking seriously about.

You might try a post on http://www.andalucia.com/forums/ as they have a lot of useful topics - doesn't matter if it isn't particularly the area you are thinkng about travelling to, by the way.

The forums are pretty active and you should get a reasonable reply if there isn't one from ABers that answers your question.

Your vet should be able to offer some advice as well of course re the journey time and how it may affect the dogs..

Is there any quarantine regulations when taking your dogs to Spain ?
