I am due to travel to New Zealand in June to study, but this will depend upon me passing my exams this year. The problem is, I will not find out until very late if I obtain the grades I need - thus if i do not pass, I will have to cancel my flight. Does anyone know of any insurers that will insure for trip cancellation for reasons other than injury, illness, jury duty etc. I cant seem to find any that will insure if I need to cancel my flight for reasons other than those mentioned

Have you tried STA travel? Given that they are a travel company specialising in Student travel - they may be able to advise on the most appropriate insurance policy.

Worth trying STA as suggested, but I doubt you will find an insurer willing to take on this risk. Too easy for you to deliberately fail if you change your mind for other reasons.
Have you thought about opening a Advantage Gold accout with Natwest bank. You get free worldwide Annual travel Insurance and free mobil phone Insurance and lots of other things you have to pay a monthly charge butyou get that back on just travel insurance' It works for me
