Where do you live and how far do you expect to travel ?

Is this for a single day out, or going away for a few days or a week ?

live in south west (uk), dont mind travelling for 3 or so hours, mabey bit longer if it is worth it.
staying 4 - 7 days

Pick a place or 2 from: http://www.kidsdaysout.co.uk/ or http://www.allkids.co.uk/days_out.shtml or http://www.kidzango.com/pm/61

or call the tourist information office in the area you want to go to and ask for their lists.

The Big Sheep in Bideford might be the sort of thing - activities and things to see for example.....have fun!

We have stayed at a Haven camp site in North Wales called Hafan Y Mor a few times.

This is a huge camp and has lots of facilities for kids. Wonderful swimming pool and lots of entertainment.

They do half board if you dont want to cook.

It is also near the coast, and also near to Snowdon, and various castles.

You can either stay on the camp and never leave it (there is plenty to do), or use it as a base and travel round to visit the things in the aera.

It is a large camp but very spacious so you never feel it is too crowded.
