Can anyone tell me if there is a website that will tell you which airlines travel on which routes? For example, if I want to fly from say Gatwick to New York, or perhaps Edinburgh to Paris, I would enter the two places on the website and it would tell me all airlines that serve that particular route. Any help greatly appreciated. Ta!

There are several airline booking sites which claim to be able to offer services from all available airlines for any given route but I've never found one which doesn't have some omissions.

The easiest thing to do is to put the name of one airport into Google. This should take you to the airports's own website. From there, click on 'Destinations served' or 'Flight information'.

For example the full list of destinations and airlines for Gatwick is here:
http://www.gatwickairport.com/portal/controller/dispatch er.jsp?Ch=Destinations+and+Airlines&ChID=26f16d35771 a2010VgnVCM100000147e120a____&ChPath=LGW%5EFlight+In formation%5EDestinations+and+Airlines&ChIDPath=d4f59 7dc2eb12010VgnVCM100000147e120a____%5E7fe697dc2eb12010Vg nVCM100000147e120a____%5E26f16d35771a2010VgnVCM100000147 e120a____

And here's the list for Edinburgh:

Try this one... (it works for foreign, non-U.S. cities as well)

And for something really interesting look at this:

It's only for the U.S. right now, but more countries later...

http://www.justtheflight.co.uk/scheduled-flights/destinations.html is a good one. If you want, you can put in a different point of departure or return for a return flight.
