Has anyone ever traveled to Prague on an Easter weekend? If yes, as Czech Republic is a Christian country, I was wondering if everything shut for the weekend and Good Friday? Will shops, bars, museams etc all be open for tourists? Do they account for the tourist numbers from overseas due to the holidays? Thanks in Advance.

The tourist machine in Prague never stops! Pretty well everywhere in the centre will be open as usual. Some shops may close on Good Friday, but the "touristy" ones will still be open. Some of the museums have pretty arcane opening hours anyway, and very few are open every day, so it always pays to check any time you go to Prague if there's a specific museum you want to see.
My Czech friend who lives in Prague says that the majority of Czech Republic are atheist.... which annoys other very religious countries because CR have a lot of gorgeous churches!!
they are not all atheist, they are very very catholic!!!
