Yes fascinating, I wonder why sometimes the leaves snap shut very quickly and sometimes they seem to close slowly.

Back in the Eighties, Asda used to sell Venus Fly Trap plants. I bought one and it grew in my garden for 3 years. In later years, I thought that I maybe should have purchased more than one, and they might have expanded. But great to watch.
