What's everyone having / had for dinner this evening?

We're having cottage pie, broccoli, green beans, curly kale and gravy. Good old comfort food.

Ive got a dicky stomach at the mo and not feeling too well so just a couple of Ryvitas for me with a bit of tomato. My sons GF is currently cooking beef strog, smells lovely but not for me tonight.
Just off to start preparing it - meatballs, chips and gravy - all homemade ! Comfort food for us too ...
Got to be giant sausages, wrinkly button mushrooms, courgettes, peas, followed by chocolate coated bananas
Chicken stir fry with noodles and shop bought spring rolls.
Followed by a cornetto!
Homed made from scratch ( ha ha no dolmio here) Beef Lasagne and a mixed salad. A nice Yellow Tail Merlot and for afters a mini magnum white chocolate and raspberry.
Just some salmon so far. Too tired to think of anything else right now.
Salmon and yuzu salsa and duck gyozo
Peppered steak.
KFC

Sorry to hear that, Nailit. I hope your appetite returns to normal soon.

Meatballs is a staple in this house, hereiam. I often just make an Italian sauce and serve with steamed green veg, rather than carb-laden pasta.

Rowan, geriatric mushrooms?

Sharon, I need to try my hand at more Chinese-style cooking. I mostly cook and eat Indian.

One of my favourites, AuntLydia. And all homemade here too. I'd kill for a Yellow-Tail Merlot but we've pledged not to drink until the Bank Holiday :-(
Goes back to one of fluffs recent posts. I was just keeping the smut going a bit longer. I am actually having chicken with mixed grains and a green salad, still doing the healthy thing.

Salmon sounds nice, Pasta. I felt like you, yesterday, and barely ate anything.

I'd better not mention that to the OH, Douglas. He'll want to know why we're not having that...

Sounds nice, RR, whatever it is.

NACW, quick and easy I suppose. I like chicken but not coated and deep-fried.

Rowan, how dare you bring smut onto my thread. ;-)
Was going to have cajun chicken, roasted mediterranean veg and potato but found some stonebaked pizza bases so it's now cajun chicken and roasted veg pizza.
One Pot chicken and orzo, will throw whatever's around in too (within reason).
Its salmon sashimi with a soy sauce and tomato, cucumber salsa - I walked into town to Yo Sushi and got it as husband is away tonight and I knew I wasn't going to cook for one.
Speaking of balls...meatballs that is...my favourites are Lions Head pork meatballs. Huge things flavoured with garlic, chillies, spring onions, ginger and sesame oil, cooked in broth. Lovely!
//Sorry to hear that, Nailit. I hope your appetite returns to normal soon//
I don't. Im fat enough.... :-)
Oooh big balls. Like it/them

Actually they sound really lovely

Sounds good, 237. I think it's better to make your own pizza. I keep promising OH I will do just that at some point.

Mamya, that sounds lovely. Almost like a risotto or jumbalaya.

In that case, RR, I've probably had it myself a few times. I love Yo! Sushi.

Nailit - from the avatar pics you've shown on here, you're not fat in the least. Muscular, yes. Fat, no.
